Look after your broom
In ancient philosophy, Theseus’s paradox maintains that if an object has all of its components replaced, it is still fundamentally the same object. Britain's best loved road sweeper applied this theory to his broom.
Whilst you won’t win any medals for taking care of yours, you will get many years of enjoyment and highly effective sweeping if you do the following:-
1. Always ensure your broom is stored in the dry between use
2. Stand it on its handle end when not in use
3. Kiss it goodnight
Follow steps 1 & 2 and you'll out-sweep any mass produced broom.
Add in step 3 and who knows it might just trigger a love like no other!
